Why do you serve on the board of the SMCF?

I have seen the good work that the SMCF has done and wanted to get more active in local activities.

Where else do you volunteer?

Historically, I have worked on the board of Meta (Making Education The Answer) which provides scholarships to deserving students.  I also manage a family Foundation that provides funding to many charities.

What’s your profession?

I am now retired.  I was in Sales and Management in the packaging industry, involved in both Manufacturing and Distribution.

What attracted you to Sierra Madre?

My family history started in Sierra Madre in 1924.  I lived here as a young child in the 1960s.  In 2010 I came back with my new family because of the family-friendly environment.

How long have you lived in Sierra Madre?

For 10 years in the 1960s and 13 years since 2010.

What’s your favorite aspect of the town?

The small town feel and friendly people.

What’s your favorite local restaurant and why?

Only Place in Town.  I am good friends with the family that owns it and their parents.

What’s your favorite local store and why?

Mail Box and Postal. The service they provide is very helpful to me.

Anything else to add?

I am really looking forward to working with the rest of the Board of the SMCF.
