My husband and I bought our first home in Sierra Madre, and raised our family there. We have since moved 4 miles east to Arcadia and continue to be involved with the community events. It is an honor to be a part of the Sierra Madre Community Foundation and to help preserve the many traditions and community spirit of Sierra Madre.
Why do you serve on the board of the SMCF?
The SMCF provides a great opportunity to support so many other organizations in town. I was happy to provide my contribution in giving back to this community.
Where else do you volunteer?
I serve on the Finance Committee for SMCF. And I also volunteer for the Assistance League of Arcadia..

I’m a CPA, and Accounting Director for City of Hope
What attracted you to Sierra Madre?
Small-town feel and the community spirit of Sierra Madre.
How long have you lived in Sierra Madre?
9 years before we moved to nearby Arcadia.
What’s your favorite aspect of the town?
I love the sense of community and different events offered, and being so close to nature. Everyone is friendly and willing to help others.
What’s your favorite local restaurant and why?
Syndicate coffee, I’m a coffee addict!
What’s your favorite local store and why?
Sierra Square Beauty Salon. My daughter and I often get our nails done there.
Anything else to add?
I love to take long walks, and travel internationally with my family.
